Pussy Willow
Stunning..!!
Fantastic!
We do experimental drawings like this with Quink ink and coffee at our Art Group!
Dave, just brilliant !!!
Rather good!
Very dramatic,it's brilliant.
Wow!
Black and White every time for me. Brilliant.
Just brilliant photography...thank you Dave.
Words fail me!
Oh god that's lovely, Mick will be like a dog with two tails trying to better this.
A sparkling photo Dave. Thanks.
Rising now, the season's flow,
No more the paring blade!
Nor easy prance of woodland nymphs
To sallow's flautist, played.
Now catkins dance without a care
Come tune of windblown rhyme,
On withies strong and, yet, untouched,
Until the end of time.
Stunning!
I agree with Ron on black-and-white photography. And Quink Ink, Veronica!.....memories of fountain pens, (I have a beautiful Waterman fountain pen which I rescued from a skip!). Beautiful poem, Philip G.
I don't mind splashing the ink Irene - but coffee - I ask you!
Mick should not be trying to better anyone. There are tons of photos all good in their own way, it is not a contest. Come on Poet join in.
A spiritual photo in many ways Ken. Redolent of a solar eclipse. I hear Strauss' Also Sprach Zarathustra as I look at it. Regards.
Yes, a superb photo. I purchased a Salix gracilistyla 'Mount Aso, a Japanese pussy willow which I find is a exquisite shrub with it having pink catkins, if you see it for sale buy one you won't be disappointed.
Thanks folks - just back after a week away so couldn't reply earlier!
