Looks quite continental from the photo,or somewhere in Chester even. I like the buildings - someone with 'flair' must have designed them! The boat could do with 'tarting up'!

Nice photo Ron.
I like the boat's sober green colour and, also, its impression of being able to punch above its weight. You've also captured a nice cluster of syrupy water reflections. But what sort of person made those magnificent rope fenders!

My Wife of 23 years left me last Saturday. She took the kids, and has left me with her new boyfriend Mohammed... i miss her so much

Please help a fella out.
Love,
Kieth Anderton

Keith,
Why has she left you with her boyfriend Mohammed - I would have thought that she would have taken Mohammed with her and the children when she left??

At one time I could make a rope fender

It's a wind up.

No doubt you're made of stern stuff Anne, but I think you'd need an able bodied chap to help you pull the yarn through - the initial push would, of course, be well within your compass. And, nay, I wouldn't be playing any part in that heave-ho business, preferring, instead, to give vocal refrain at well-chosen intervals.
This is part of what be would be my opening line:
Come, cheer up, my lads, . . . .

Is that Hearts of Oak, Our Philip? xx

Just noticed there looks to be something remarkably like a pair of giant knitting needles ready for the job. All I need now is a couple of able bodied chaps.

"Eats,Shoots & Leaves"
A book about punctuation by Lynne Truss....
Useful to avoid misconceptions.

It certainly is, Irene; your fine musicianship more-telling than a full mains'l.
