Wigan must be the top of the list when it comes to makeovers, what is it this time ???
The WMC must have pots of money to waste !
I heard from two old ladies tutting at the expense. Apparently it's to make room for the open air concerts taking place Helen. I must say I like to see the Wigan Jazz Band in Summer..... Wigan seems to come to a standstill then apart from oldies swaying to the music!

Is it what they call modern art? Not my cup of tea.
I remember a couple in the Walker Art Gallery ponder for several minutes an' art installation' before realising with some embarrassment that it was an extractor fan.

I heard of this space programme a while ago now. It is understood that they are planning to send the whole Wigan Council to Mars, so that they can muck it up...as they have done on Earth....!!!!

Wigan council is always looking to cement relationships.
Veronica, what your looking at is not free, and that's my point, not the concert, I wouldn't go even if your drove me there.
Yes I take your point Alan- it's easy for me to say as I don't pay council tax to Wigan. A lot of people have complained about the expense. ( it should be good though in Summer). I just wonder where the pigeons have gone.....
