New Road

I've been gone too long... Would someone please explain to me, where this is exactly.. I think that is the Steeple of Highfield Church in the picture.. So is this going from ( roughly)Little Lane area or where?
Janet...From Warrington Road, near where Ellseys Vinegar Works was, go
past the offices on the left, on Smithy Brook Road (I think that is what it is called) and this location
is at the top, opposite the roundabout.
Janet it’s part of the old Pemberton Collieries, Blundells, site.
It is Highfield church in the distance.
Will this road eventually link up to the road that is being put in place at Spring View, or is that for another purpose.
Janet if you go along Warrington Road to where the vinegar works were there is now a road to your left which runs parallel to Little lane. At the top of this road there is an island which you turn right and this section of road bends to the right then joins Little Lane just before the Railway bridge. The land along this section is being developed

Ray, Keith, Thank you.. I only went that way once on my last visit over, so don't really remember all the changes...mostly I remember new houses on the right hand side and a roundabout, but that's all...
I could ask where this new road leads to, but all that has probably changed too, so I still wouldn't know. hahahahaha
Of all the houses my grandparents, aunts and uncles lived in, there isn't one still there, they're all gone.. so sad... all I have are the memories...
