When you think about it the sun is doing the same thing all around the world, and being seen by all different nationality's, all different religions, good people and bad people.
I was in New Zealand last week watching the same sun, but its hotter down there and burns you quicker because of there thin ozone layer
Did you know that it against the NZ law to send primary school kids to school with out a haton there head

Lovely childhood memories of playing here,as I lived only yards away.Though the tennis courts and bowling green are long gone,I can still picture them. Thanks Steve.

Everywhere at this time of year looks dismal 'till the sun peeps through and transforms - even if it's too cold to appreciate! Brrrrr!

Much as I love Haigh, (and I do), it is nice to see another area of Wigan get a chance to shine. Walmesley Park, (which we only ever called Ince Park), was one of my childhood playgrounds but this is the first time I have seen it at dawn. The memories are flooding back of picnics in brown paper carrier bags and carefree childhood days. Thankyou.

Hi Mick, Happy New year. I think you need it.
Do you ever feel happy about anything because you seem to moan all the time
I am sure people are sick of it,I know I am.
It turned me off going on Wigan world for awhile I’m
