Winter Colour
Photo: Steve Carter (Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ3)
I cant see any Cyclingmen, I can on only see a bunch of red flowers
that's lovely!
And they certainly do bring some cheer Steve, just what we need.Thank you.
Nice Photo Ste'. And not a blemish on the plants.
Mick you are so so funny !! nurse !!!!!!!
Nice photo Steve.
Mick, You won’t see many Cyclingmen in the cycle lanes at The Saddle either.
Gorgeous plant - flowers all the more when dead- headed and the leaves are colourful as well.
Veronica,it is a gorgeous plant..Cliffs Auntie liked them,I bought her one every Mothers Day,she was a Spinster and had no children, but had more or less brought her other Nephew up.When they had finished flowering she would lay it on its side, put it somewhere cool and it would start flowering again..l don't know where she got that tip from but it always worked.
Never heard of that tip Maureen - I always buy them in Winter for pots, in deep pinks and white. They brighten the gloom on grey days....just what we need. It's a lovely photo today.
I must mention the similarity of Veronica's cute final line, to that written by Irene Roberts at Item 20191. Piccolo!
Thanks for a lovely photograph Steve. A beautiful little flower.
Clever play on words Mick - I like it.
It's certainly a sight for sore eyes..I keep coming back to look at it..it cheers me up.
