Now that's what I call a proper tea! Not a grain of quinoa in sight. Food like this should be force-fed to every Guardian reader in the country. It would help them to regain a sense of proportion.

Looks worse than a dog's dinner... I thought the last picture of the year would have been more of a 'piece- de- resistance'! Well we all know what thought did... Still we must be thankful for all the pictures that Mick and all the rest of the snappers take - tramping out in all weathers for all the P-a- D fans..... Happy New Year to one and all.
