Three Pubs
Clever. I like that. And each one open for business. Nor are they on a town centre street/road. Only in Wigan? Has Leigh, Standish or Ashton got a similar scene?

Great photo and good news to many pubs closing.opposite side was the old St. Andrews labour club then off license where i helped my mum and dad in the 1950 while attending Gidlow School great memories.
Nice to see pubs in such close proximity - I think Scholes used to hold the record for the most pubs on one road back in the day. A sign of a very close community! These days not needed it seems.

Ashton has a similar scene Golden Lion -Red Lion -Sir Thomas Gerard-Robin Hood-Crosskeys(15 closed).
Going to mi mates in Shevi on the 850 Norton Commando and I hit half a building brick in the road near the Belle View . Damn thing buckled the front wheel . Always remember that bend.!
Helen, that was Belle Vue street and that was at the top of Tunstall lane where the Ravine Club is at present. Nowhere near the Belle Vue pub was
