Just shows how strong plants are when they can grow through tarmac in just a short time,they would take over the world given the chance just look at Angkor Wat

The one and only time I had a meal there was at my Father's wake with the rest of the family & friends.09/03/1984.
When did it finally close down?
What is going to replace it-houses?

I believe it will be another restaurant, called Alberts. If it is anything like
Alberts on the East Lancs Road, it will be brilliant.

A company called Elle R Leisure, ie Albert Schloss aka Albert's shed based in Manchester are demolishing all the out buildings leaving the main building as it is, and, erecting a new restaurant, with 180 covers, a private dining room for 40 people plus two function rooms for 80 and 150 people, due to open in late summer 2019.
