A lovely photo,thank you Ron.
An unusual, homely photo of the hall, almost as if it is still occupied as a family home, with the Crawfords inside at breakfast, looking out onto their garden.
The ghosts of Haigh Hall taking breakfast in the Morning Room with Lady Mabel in residence - all bumping into one another!
"Do partake of some tea dear before shooting the wood pigeons....Cook intends baking pigeon pie for supper!"
Hubby - "Splendid my dear ... A drop or two of our finest brandy to send us on our way."

He would have been more likely to have said something like "Excellent breakfast dear, well I'm off to throw a few more children down my Pit Shafts. Got to keep the lazy little beggars on their toes dontchaknow. I'll be back for supper, tell cook to stay up late to keep it warm for me, er the Pigeon Pie that is"

I spoke to a Polish lad Photo-a-Day (Monday, 19th March, 2018)who was chopping firewood a few weeks ago who was living in Haigh hall
When I asked him about ghosts in the Haigh hall he said he and non of his mates had ever seen one
As Lady Mabel finished slurping her tea from the dainty china cup and licking her silver spoon; She exclaimed " My Lord - Forsooth I foresee in the tea leaves a ghastly pink slime covering these goodly walls..."
Lord and Master cocking his gun - " Perhaps Cook has made a surfeit of 'Blanc - Mange again dearest"!
You daft lot, you do make me laugh, I just have to read out your comments to my other half, he laughs too...keep up the good work !
Good photo Ron. What have ghosts got to do with Ron's photo. Perhaps we should start a would-be poets corner for all these semi-delinquents to use LOL.

Thankyou anyway you just have to have a chuckle now and again - but sometimes we get carried away! It might be a white van next time that comes for us! ( especially Dtease and Oozy!)
