I can see Gathurst golf club and the new houses built on the Carmelite nunnery site.
I wonder if thats Standish on the right and part of Wigan road
I didnt have time to put a flag.

Strickland House Farm and stables are to the right, almost on apparent level with the viaduct - so Wigan Road will be somewhere in front of that.
