Its hard work coming up here on a bike
The Khyber pass.....( or goat path ), take your pick. Nice one Harry....I would have thought that Mick would have beaten you to it with this one.....but evidently not.... Incidentally, Mick...hawthorn....towpath....Shedfield bridge....job sorted...respect due...ride carefully.
Regards...Ozy
wooden steps would have looked much nicer.
Its dissapointing the council have decided to use so much nasty concrete to make the path here. Other paths in Haigh blend in much better than this and are more in keeping with the natural surroundings. Im surprised the environment agency haven't had a word and requested they rip it up.
Well done Ozy for cutting down the fallen tree, its people like you who deserve awards for being a true friends of the canal bank.
It's a thankless task for people who put themselves out to clear trees and rubbish for the sake of others in these cost stricken times.
Aesthetics are of no concern to the Council in the present economic climate.
Funny place to put a roundabout!!!
Highfieldlatic, perhaps they did the roundabout to make Mick feel at home, as there are loads of them in Shevington!
Ive just been told that this path was made by one of the locals, was it you Azy
