Mesnes Car Park
This is the first time ever I have seen cars parked outside of the Park Pavilion. What is going on?
They spoil the scene completely.
I believe the car-park is for staff. There was an article in The Observer last week about a lady and her disabled husband not being allowed to park there as the spaces were for staff only.
If the council see this picture, they will make it pay and display.
Never thought I would see the day when cars would be 'parked' in the park. It doesn't seem right !
Staff? Where is this ! Heinz factory?
Surely the idea of having a Park is to have a place where children can play and people can walk without having to worry about being run over with cars. Are these people so bone idle that they can't walk through the Park like everyone else?
Can only tell you what it said in last week's Observer, Poet. Café staff, it said.
Shouldn't be too difficult to get served an ice cream Irene.
I agree with you, Poet. And I also agree with Helen and Veronica....the cars spoil the scene we have all been familiar with all our lives.
It only takes one child to come running out of the cafe with an ice cream and not looking...
It shouldn't be allowed in my opinion.
How many staff have they got? If the parking is for the disabled then the disabled ought to think about the abled. Especially the young! Absolutely ridiculous.
Pauline the parking is for staff not the DISABLED.We can park around the outside of the park by using our Blue Badge. if you think it is wrong for staff to park around the cafe get onto the council to try to put a stop to it, done blame the DISABLED
