Three modes of transportation. It's lonely at the top.

Ive walked underneath both of the viaducts when I had short legs

Light, shade, sun beam, tree canopy - fine photo. Few places in the country where a compact view like that is accessible. Well done..

Even better photo if you had a plane, motorway traffic, a train and a boat. All four modes of transport.
Never the less a great photo.

Nice pic Dave, i've run / walked that stretch of the canal hundreds of times over the years and been lucky enough to see on many occasions at that same spot,(trains and boats and planes), as in the words of the song written by Burt Bacharach.

'perfect timing' on this shot would be a barge, cyclist, train, vehicle and plane!!

Excellent photo, Dave.

This is a lovely spot on the canal near Wigan.

I fished there, opposite those dry looking reeds on the far bank. I also walked along the motorway with my mates in 1961 or so, before it was opened to traffic, of course.

Good pic.

Actually there was a Narrowboat, a water skier, a jogger, cyclist and a bloke on a unicycle juggling 3 parrots.

But they were behind me.
