Simply majestic David. One of the best photographs I've seen on p.a.d. My best to you mate.

A cold and solitary walk with the dog. It looks like the towpath needs some grading. Nice photo.

Hauntingly mysterious ... Could be the opening scene of a film! Lovely!

It might be slippery under foot but when its a bit frosty the tow path is not as slutchy.

What a lovely photo! Winter Frost on the ground but catkins and sunlight overhead. "If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?"

Thanks all.
Elizabeth I was walking from Haigh to New Spings, the bridge in the photo is the one before the New Springs road bridge.

Thanks you David, I thought it was. I walk over here quite regularly.

The far off bridge would be Bridge Pit bridge ( Dairy Pit men would know this). Through the trees on the left there are some remnants of Dairy Pit, spent many hours in that coal mine.
