Aspull moor
Ron I've told you, you should get out more! that's cracker. H.
Get thi photo sent off Christmas cards printers would love it absolutely lovely well done.
Looks very much like a painting.
Well done Ron.
Ron, I'm sat here in north Yorkshire wondering where in Aspull this is !. The only place I can think of is Simms Square, Bolton Road, am I right ??.
I love this....it's like a Christmas Card! There were some in the shops Christmas just gone that were black and white with just one feature picked out in red; this beats them hollow!
Dont think I'll bother this morning brrrrr! I'm stayin' in....
Great photo,is this quite near to Lucas Nook? Aspull is a lovely area.
To quote a phrase "Pretty as a Picture"..thank you Ron.
JJP the gable behind the pine tree is the old Queens Head
I'm on the coast, 8 miles from Newcastle, and recognised this before seeing the caption.
Photos don't get much better than this one.
Excellent Ron.
I bought some cards from B&M bargains with a similar view, a bargain 50 cards for £1.99
Ron, I now think its the Finger Post area and what used to be the butchers shop, around the corner is what was the Queens Head pub, second guess right I hope !!. If this is taken from your house you must live close to where the Running Horses was.
Do all the street lights lean to the right in Aspull?
Dtease, yep they do, predominant westerly winds see !!.
dtease no, a lovely area in Wigan is Aspull, the best.
Dtease Only if you lean to the left.
Indeed,it is a lovely area Alan even when it's snowing as this great photo shows but JJP I THINK THE WIND COMES MOSTLY FROM SIBERIA!
