This is lovely. I like the branch with a few leaves on the top left of the photo. It takes the bareness away. Where IS "Ron's Pond!, please?

Could say the most photographed bridge in Wigan frozen in time.

Ron is the great trail blazer of Haigh Hall with his camera Jim - he leaves no stone unturned- in all weathers he turns out for the delectation of all PAD lovers- sometimes he sings as he goes! Remember the still life the other day ? It must have been really bad weather to come up with that one!

Irene, this must be the most photographed bridge in Wigan. This is an unusual angle though, looking over the old boating pond in Haigh towards the Leeds/Liverpool Canal with Haigh golf course in the background. Great photo.

Thankyou Phil. I just didn't recognise it from that angle.

Thanks Veronica I only went to Gidlow school so I don’t know what delectation means .
