A lovely heartwarming picture.
That little lad really does look proud..there's something magical about being on a boat on a lovely summers day.
Lovely picture Ron. Are there any "Safety Rules" for boaters on the canal, such as lifejackets for children etc.?
Ken, are you suggesting they should also erect railings along the whole length of the canal just in case a youngster might fall in? As well as a life jacket, why not a helmet just in case he should bang hid head on the side when he falls in. And flat soled shoes to ensure secure footing whilst on deck. And leather gloves to ensure secure grip on the rudder........................
You've forgotten about the asbestos boiler suit, Titus, in the event that there may be burning diesel fuel on the surface of the water when he takes his untimely dip.
