Wooden tent
Flaming heck David not seen you for ages, do you still do the 3pm walk around with Eric ?
I think that it is what is known as a "habitat pile" for insects and wildlife.
Cheers Mick I still get round the lakes weather permiting but the long walk with the lads is now in the past my legs are on limited mileage
Hi Dave my knees have worn out so I stopped doing a lot of walking, but last week the doctor gave me two Steroid injection in them and they are much better now.
Lately I've seen odd tree/branch formations in a local woods near me, that is thin trees or maybe branches that appear to have been taken from elsewhere and stacked against a larger, upright tree. Whether this activity is by bush craft, activities from scout groups, or somethibg else I don't know, but they look out of place to say the least.
I've heard of several places in the UK where there's has been what's termed as "pinned arches", meaning, tall trees or very tall branches that have been pulled over in an arch and pinned to the ground, not something that can easily be achieved by a person. Makes you wonder what's out there:)
