wow i have had 6 pics posted in a row, amazing what a bit of moaning can do

Cute! It reminds me of a pub in the Lake District, and the story of how it came to be known as The Drunken Duck.

OMG, I remember that happening to me many years ago.

A good picture but I think it's disgusting that nutcases should throw bottles in the canal near these lovely wildlife. Just shows the limit of their intelligence.

Not only in the canal, Veronica, but on street corners. They fine folk for throwing cig ends on the streets, this is even worst.

Mick.You should not throw your empty beer bottles into the canal,but then you will do anything to get a photo.hope you removed the bottle.

Fred..you are so right..I've never seen a nice comment from him..and I've been here a few years.when his photos are not on display,he starts to spit his dummy out,or make some obnoxious remark about certain estates.

Maybe the bottle belongs to the ducks? Or the last site of a drunk who fell in trying to catch one.

Yes you can see the bubbles where he went under Dave! The duck's have more sense than the drunk for that matter.

It would appear that the level of criticism aimed at any contributor to this site, is geared to be directly proportionate to the volume of contributions made by that particular individual.....Although, happily, this would render the majority of people who visit the site immune from verbal abuse, it doesn't actually bode too well for the site itself in the long term..... Just an observation.

I don't contribute pictures only comments.
Anyone , can slate my comments , in what whatever manner they choose , no matter how aggressive or hurtful. The only format is staying within the rules of the forum. When you join an open forum , you have to accept not only the good and the bad, but also the in between. Those who wish, or expect constructive criticism always , are , I am afraid , living in cloud cuckoo land! This is simply not human nature.

Ozy..all the beautifully English phrases in the world does not take away the fact that the individual in the question has been very abusive in the past to quite a few people, have you seen any of the comments he's aimed at some of the nicest photos on P.A.D.,I fear not.

Ozy you are a very wise man, I dont normally get involved with these people who come on here using different names, but let me say this the Mick posting @00:36 wasnt me, he or she was a fraud probably one of the rejects who are still out to trying to wreck this web site.
But if any of you want 6 photos on the run, get out there take some photos and send them in to Wiganworld you never know they all might be chosen as a photo a day.

I don't know one duck from another but looking at this picture I would say that the one one the left is the female and she's nagging the poor old male duck to a standstill "You were in a right state when you came home last night. There's beer bottles all over and the place looks like a bombs dropped. I can't leave you on your own for five minutes"

I suppose a lot depends on one's interpretation of the word ' abusive ' Susan. Like yourself, I've been coming on this site for a while, and over the months, I've seen Mick make what could be termed ' forthright comments ', but I can't say that I've ever known him to make comments that I would personally describe as being abusive, although he's come in for a great deal of unwarranted abuse himself, with the occasional racist taunt thrown in for good measure, while other ignorant posters have flown in, dumped their toxic payload and flown out again completely, or apparently completely undetected....or at least without comment. I like a bit of ' fairation ', but I don't think that's what Mick's getting here. That's all I'm saying.

Ozy, you hold a wise head of common sense but Mick knows exactly what he is doing . It doesn' t bother me one jot but his disguise to me is blatantly obvious . Proved why we are once again talking about Mick.
I guarantee this will reappear. Mick donates massively to the forum but appears to want something more. I am a great follower of Mick's vids, as he goes into the nooks and crannies in the most minute detail. Mick holds far more positives than negatives in my eyes. His wide range of contributions , speak for themselves . What is in his head , who cares? He gives to this forum!!! We should all be grateful.

Hi Mary, the real reason that we are once again talking about Mick is down to the fact that people are once again knocking him for no legitimate reason. I agree with what you say regarding his input, although I'm afraid I don't follow you down your disguise theory route. To me, Mick's just a normal bloke who goes around on a bike taking photos, as I sometimes do, and submitting them to Wigan World, or driving around in his car with his dashcam on and putting the videos on YouTube. There's nothing really remarkable about what he does... in fact any one of us could do it if we could be bothered to do it, but the truth is we can't can we?. What is remarkable is that Mick can be bothered. I personally don't see any conspiratorial motive in his actions, nor can I see any justification for the negative remarks that appear to be repeatedly directed at him.... In the natural world, when the predator has selected its prey, the rest of the pack move in to ensure the kill. As a species, we aren't really that far removed from pack animals are we?, I've witnessed it on more than one occasion over the years....Wigan World isn't the Serengeti however and different rules should apply here....I don't actually care what's in his head either Mary. and be assured that I feel under no obligation whatsoever to present a case for his defence, other than a desire to see fair play.

All I can say Ozy is,you aren't a good judge of character,the man is known to put obnoxious remarks on here just to seek attention!!! Why hasn't he replied to any of these remarks, simple,he enjoys the attention.you quite obviously haven't read all his nasty comments in the past.he is thoroughly bad mannered.

Ozy, you cant use all the fancy words you want, fact remains Mick is a attention seeking individual who stokes fires with his rude, silly and stupid comments, yes he does make good contributions to this forum but it is not HIS forum, so keep writing the waffle in Micks defence, you are in a minority
