Thank you Mick, it's so nice to be able to put a face to Ron who does so much for Wigan World along with your self and all the other contributors who make the site what is Thanks is also due to Brian Elsey and Ron Hunt who give an inordinate of time to the projects great success I'm sure other viewers share these sentiments.

I do hope Ron is happy to have this information (image/name) about himself made public, Mick.

Nice one Mick. That's Ron for sure. There'll be many people who will have viewed Ron's contributions more than once before, without having actually seen the man responsible for those images. Well, here he is, in person. Unfortunately, there will also no doubt be a certain amount of able bodied posters viewing this who's contributions to the proceedings amounts to zilch, or quite possibly a bit less, always assuming of course that zilch can be construed as being a contribution. No photos, nothing, other than puerile comments. People who lack the ability to haul their backsides away from Judge Judy on the telly and get out to experience a world that doesnt actually orbit planet Murdoch. This rant doesn't include expats by the way, just bone idle moaning sods from the Wigan area, who will no doubt question the validity of another photo taken on the cut bank. Peace be with you. Ozy.

Must be a good 'un in both senses of the word to have so many early positive comments.

Lovely to see Ron who looks prepared for any climatic change or any chasing paparazzi! He doesn't look 'Owd' either!

Comment by: Mick on 6th July 2017 at 09:56

Well said Ozy, BTW I took you advice and got myself a pair of goggles for bike riding.

Thanks Mick,
Even though I fall well within the circle of those Ozy/Mick dislike so passionately, I am still just as grateful and appreciative to the above gentlemen, believe it or not, and all those who contribute.

Agree with Julie, I don't always go along with Ozy/Mick comments which bore me to death, but this one time I DO agree but only this once.

Comment by: Veronica on 7th July 2017 at 08:45

I think it's refreshing to see comments written with such a good command of English and sound good sense. Ozy clearly has a talent for the written word!

Comment by: Julie on 7th July 2017 at 18:31

Have never liked Ozys correction of Micks spelling and grammar . I find it excruciatingly
patronising. There are things we each get and things we don't . We are not built the same . The fact someone knows how to present the written word , which is lovely to see, does not make those that don't a lower form..

Comment by: . Ozymandias . on 7th July 2017 at 20:15

Julie, when you use the words ' lower form ', could you please stress that these are your words and not mine. Regarding Mick, I know the man, and he knows me, and there is a certain level of humour in my comments that he is fully aware of but once again you appear to be failing to recognise. Regards. Ozy.
