A very beautiful picture. The waves on the water gives it a very peaceful looking, calming photo.

Celeste

Waves on the canal that a narrowboat makes means he's going too fast !!!!

Sorry David, forgot to mention - the colours are beautiful.

To be making waves that big the barge must be speeding.

Thank you so much for the very happy memory of travelling along this area.

Hi Maggie, I always note your love of the Waterways. Did you live on one of these vessels or just spend many days on them?
I have read there is a wonderful community spirit on the canals that has grown over generations. Bet you have many wonderful memories , not only of people you have met,
but Nature as it moves through the seasons.
How better than on water. I wish my journey
through life could have gone closer to yours.
Thank you David, for your thought invoking
picture, so beautifully captured.

A lovely photo, the colours make it,the boat is going much too fast,it does cause damage to the banks.

Lovely photo, David.

Real Spring like.

I used to fish there as a kid. I would cycle from Norley Hall with all my kit and thoroughly enjoy a day out.

Great pic.

A lovely tranquil scene. Sorry if the boat is going too fast, but the waves only add to the feel of the picture,to me at least!
