Busker
Well, this man does not look destitute, but looks can be deceiving, any consideration given to him would be how good was his music. A much easier choice than the one yesterday.
Wherever there is a busy town centre you will always find 'buskers' plying their 'trade'! Whether good or not so good they add to the ambience. I have been stopped in my tracks on occasions at the talents of singers and musicians. I remember a few years ago two young men impersonating old ladies whilst riding wheeled contraptions. They were utterly hilarious and outlandish. I wonder where they are now? Not sure if they were buskers but they were high class entertainers alright! The town centre was in an uproar when they were about!
veronica I was in wigan that day with my mum's cousin who is in her 80s. those cavemen made her day because one wanted to take her as his wife. So funny.
I love hearing music anywhere..so yes,I will give money to buskers.

Maureen you wouldnt love this type of music if he was sat playing his fiddle outside of your house all day.
Do you know when Wigan fell silent on remembrance day the only sound you could hear from the cenotaph was this man fiddle.
Kath the ones I saw were a bit like Hinge and Bracket but on bikes and it was in the summer time. They came to Wigan for a couple of years. I also love it when the Jazz sessions are on......I could swoon all day listening to them ....even though they aren't busking!
Mick..that's bad, someone should have told him in no uncertain terms.
I've seen quite a few buskers on my travel, some great musicians down in the Paris metro , one man had a three keyboard electronic organ at one major metro junction, it sounded very selestial echoing through the levels.
I'd never give 'em a penny. plus, I'd report them to the authorities as "beggars" Cos that's all they are, and begging is illegal.
