Photo-a-Day (Saturday, 18th March, 2017)
Mesnes Park
What a lovely explosion of colour, when they get the other flower beds done it will look even better.
Very nice, the contrast of the colourful flowers against the bare trees is startling.
Best un for awhile in my eyes .
What a beautiful sight, ready for Monday being the first day of Spring
Ah Primroses one of my favourite Spring flowers, beautiful colours.
The birds singing, what more do we want! Great photo Maurice.
What a sight, reminds me of a patchwork quilt. This Mesnes Park display surpasses in leaps & bounds the paultry display I saw in Cromer this morning.
Thanks,I will have to resize the photo correctly next time,I posted it too big,so both sides have had to have some cut off.
Reminds me of weekend afternoons as teens in the 50s prior to St Johns youth club in the evening. What say you Maurice?
Mesnes Park is the only thing I miss about Wigan (except the pies) Used to run round the park training for cross country when I attended at Wigan Grammar School in the 1960s
Looking abosoultly beautiful.
