As an ocean going yachtsman I find pictures such this unbelievably peaceful and calming. Thank you Ron.

A really tranquil scene. When was this photograph made?

Comment by: Garry on 6th February 2017 at 07:26

Is this photo from a while back, the trees are still in leave, looks very much Autumn time, never the less, good photo.

Lovely shot Ron. Red Narrowboat just in the right spot :)

Very nice Ron, would just love a walk along there.

About three month ago Helen.

Dave .I used to paint my boat red in case there where cameras about.

Comment by: Neil Cain on 6th February 2017 at 12:12

Good one Ron, it is the light on the boat that makes this I think. Irene R would like this if she logs on.

Comment by: Garry on 6th February 2017 at 13:04

Not the boat that makes it or it's in the right place, forget the boat.
It's the blue sky and colours of the trees that makes it!

Comment by: Mick on 6th February 2017 at 13:39

I cant see why the Red Narrowboat is in the right spot when you can only see the upper part of it, and I think the boat being close to the bridge dosent do it any favors.

Shades of autumn. Nice one Ron.

Everything combined makes this a lovely subtle scene ....

Comment by: irene roberts on 6th February 2017 at 16:14

How well you know me, Neil! Yes, I do like it.....a lovely scene.

Comment by: PeterP on 6th February 2017 at 18:14

Why do people try to pull P-A-D apart? Do I complain the shot should not have lampposts in it making it more natural,No I don't I look at the photo as it is a photo and a lovely scene.

Comment by: Andrew on 6th February 2017 at 19:55

Thanks Ron - nicely done is that! One of the things that frustrates me being red/green colour blind is that I don't see the things as others do: a red boat pops the image nicely I would have thought but it just looks the same colour as surrounding vegetation to my eyes!

Comment by: Garry on 6th February 2017 at 20:37

Don't get angry with yourself PeterP. There's another photo tomorrow.

Out your finger over the boat. Like the optician says ''Better with or without.''

Comment by: Garry on 7th February 2017 at 08:42

Without glasses is better, then again the optician WILL say that, won't they, it's all about making money. Come on Neil get a grip.

Give it a rest, Garry.
