love the picture ?are there still trout in the lakes caught one over 3 lbs in number 1 in the 1980s

The water level is well up,Warrington Anglers have the fishing rights Barry,Iv'e not heard of any trout being cought though,nice photo.

Very nice , like the sun on the grass bank.Feels springlike. Not far from the crop of the Arley seam of coal either!

thanks maurice i think it was stocked with trout at one stage not sure but i think wigan anglers had the fishing rights then .can you walk dogs around that area? i will have a walk round without my dog if dogs are not allowed
