A walk in the park
Photo: Harry Cunliffe (Nikon Coolpix 7900)
Good photos Harry, as you say, it looks brilliant.
very nice harry!
Beautiful! Reminds me of childhood visits with my parents.
I was in the park on Tuesday afternoon and saw people having a picnic sat on the bowling greens, which looked in very poor condition. Also, who built the low wall across the tennis courts? What is that for?
I've not been in for years but it looks more like it did when I was young.
On the negative side when I see shots of our park,it always reminds me of the time I had just got a little black doll ,my Mam took us to the park, sat my little doll beside me on the grass..looked again and she had gone..I was heartbroken..but on the positive side I used to love taking my children there in the Summer hols..they were lovely days....and I bought myself a little black doll, she's in my bedroom now...so all is well.
Reminds me of the old postcards of Wigan Park.
I was also in the park on Wednesday and was pushing my bike as I chatted to my MP Lisa Nandy who was pushing her pram.
Mick, I hope you didn't bore her to death.
Maureen that little tale reminds me of the last "Toy Story " film with Tom Hanks as Woody - when Baby Doll ended up with Huggy Bear! Their owner left them both in a field......brilliant films for grown-ups as well as kids. I believe another one of those films is on the way. Can't wait!!! I sat and watched every one with my grand kids and never laughed as much in all my life!
Vb,it's nice to get away from adult films sometime to bring you back down to earth don't you think...I loved 'Toy Story' as well..these animated films are so good.
Takes me back to my girl spotting Sundays in the park. Wasn't lucky though found my girl in Ormskirk
