when I lived in Wigan, I Used to drive through Orrell on my way to work, and always marvelled at the florists' hard work - their flower displays were on show very early each day - hundreds of pot plants and flowers. Lovely!

This is so familiar,I would drive this way from shevington to billinge hospital where I worked as a midwife in the early eighties.
The Pubs not as good as it used to be, has stood the test of time though.
