"Graceful and serene on the surface while paddling like mad underneath". A great photo of an elegant bird. Love the reflections in the water.

Maggie you do me too much credit. I was just out for an evening ramble between Sennicar Lane and Haigh bridges when this presented itself. It was a snap or miss moment. No doubt some will say I should have got the whole of the swan's reflection.Come on Mick.

There to much reflection in the water to make this a good photo like so many of you think it is.

Good picture of seemingly an angry swan. Wouldn't want to get too close!

Put a bet on for me too, Neil, whilst you're at it! A certainty! x.

I once was an ugly duckling -but look at me now! Such a beautiful, graceful bird and the water looks so cool and refreshing.

Lovely work Mr Cain.
