Across the Douglas Valley
Photo: Rev David Long (Sony SLT-A65V)
I cant see our house on this one.
thought the church was your house Mick!
To use that overworked word....WOW !
Wonderful photo. Thank you.
beautiful
Very good.
Ah! The sky in all it's glory!
The sky at night
What a lovely sight
Waiting still for the dawn light
Wow
Had I the Heavens'embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,I would spread the cloths under your feet;
But I being poor,have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

Excellent, Rev...
Well done, you...
Vb, I only know that poem from the tv series, "Sex, Chips and Rock'n'Roll", which sounds an unlikely source if ever there was one, but that is where I know it from, nevertheless, and I find it beautiful.
Nice sunset. I reckon you coudl lose the bottom 3rd of the pic though.
I thought that Dave from an amateur artist point of view. Working to the rule of thirds .Glad you like the poem Irene its one of my favourites...I love skies!
WOW indeed Beryl. Still awaiting a response about email addresses.
