Brings back tons of memories!
As a lad, I visited relatives at New Lane, Burscough (Southport line). Sat on the station for hours as these giants passed by!

Oh, that's lovely....you can almost hear it! I like the dappled sunlight on the ground and the carriages. It takes me back to going to Southport on a sunny day as a child.

The service was given the name Tin Bath in honour of one of the the sequences in Last of the Summer Wine where one of the characters hurtled down a hill in a tin bath.
