Photo-a-Day (Monday, 16th November, 2015)
Nostrils of Wigan
Interesting angle, Rachel. Good one.
Disgusting
It certainly gets up my nose.
What happened, did you faint after seeing the monstrocity for the first time. no matter what the angle it is awful. Nothing wrong with photo though.
Hahaha, funny title Rachel :-D
Not my cup of tea.
Sooner look at an HDR photo!
Not to be sniffed at.
Nothing wrong with the photo as Derek says, i haven't seen this 'thing', although it doesn't appeal to me at first glance i can't really say very much, not knowing the size of it, how much it cost, who's idea it was, and also it's relationship with Wigan, if any.
We'll need a very large hanky,
when it starts dripping...!!!!!!
Garry, if it's not "Not my cup of tea" then just don't comment.
Not my cup of tea too.
Something a little out of the ordinary, appreciate all your comments,
Thankyou
lectriclegs, i cant agree with you on that, we cant have all positive comments on a photo, there's got to be a negative side as well, i would think that this photo of Rachels will get more negative ones than positive.I notice that you haven't commented at all about the photo.
Can someone let us who don't know anything about this, see the bigger picture. Come on Rachel, go and take another photo !
Jonno,I am one of the few people who like this piece of art.Rachel you do come up with some unusual shots.Keep these photos of Wigan coming
jonno the sculpture is 5.5 metres tall and cost £80000 to make and was done has a piece of public art by modus development in 2007.Type "The Face" into search box for a full length photo
Helen, see 9th November 2011. The Face of Wigan just off Millgate.
Well said Jonno. Rachal has taken some lovely photos in the past, but I'm afraid this one in my opinion is not. It's not the photo, it's the object.
Chin up, Rachel..
I think you are great...and brave..
Keep 'em coming, Lass..
Helen, there is a wider shot, Photo-a-Day 25th July, 2014
Helen; Photo-a-Day on 25th April 2010 shows where this ugly face is.
Only just realised it was the face off Millgate, taken from an unusual angle.
Thanks Neil & Ernest....another bit of 'art' that is supposed to educate & inspire the masses...I like your 'nostrils' better Rachel, at least it made me laugh !
