White Pheasant
I was up in Worthington last week taking photos of Worthington Hall the Manor House and Mill Bridge Farmhouse for the save Wigan group and I saw about a dozen of these White Pheasants running around the fields.
Well spotted Anne ,I've never seen white pheasant before ,probably not an albino because of the red patch still visible round its eye.
Very interesting Anne, I have never seen one of these birds before.
I am told they are being bred like this and there are now many of them coming out of hiding. I had spotted them earlier in the summer but this was the first close encounter.
Thanks for the photo, I didn't even know there were white pheasants.
Anne,I can only echo everyone else's comments..it's a lovely shot.
That looks like a white Grouse.
All this `Wildlife` - where`s Dirty Harry?
