Aubrey I was around that area on Sunday, I bet I rode past you.
Mick,
There was a good crowd around, the event is certainly popular.
What a complete waste of time and energy. Why not put all that effort into something useful. Just think what could be achieved with that amount of people, say, picking up litter off the streets for example. And don't say that's the council's job.
What a complete waste of time and effort! It's perfectly possible to expend energy, whilst at the same time performing a task that would benefit the community. I could think of a number of suitable alternatives to running 6.2 miles. I suspect I'm in the minority here however.
That's my son, grey top, black shorts, just centre-right. He raised money for charity, and thought it worth every second. Each to his own.
Exactly Irene, he's a good lad, and to everyone who took part.10/10.
I do not think you have got the point of the race Eddie. People who enter run for charities one being Joining Jack which is trying to raise money for research into a terrible disease that attacks mostly young boys. I sponsored someone. People were running for many other causes.
Dave Marsh in the white shirt. Did four hours.
