I never can under stand traditional decks, being out in all weathers. My boat had a cruising deck with a canopy. Not the done thing ,but I was warm ,and dry.
Why was I immediately prompted to start singing We're all going on a Summer Holiday............. Great photo all the same

When we were lads we used to swim in this area , just past the boat bridge , lovely area in rain or shine ,
But for that little bridge, I would not know where this is. Last time I was on the little bridge, the opposite bank was open meadow with a clear view up to Haigh Hall. Must be getting really old....
