that is not from the top of Gidlow Lane it is part way down

Excellent photo, the telephoto effect makes St James's Church and Eckersley Mill look a good bit closer than they are in real life.

An excellent photo, the camera lens used gives the impression that Eckersley Mill and St James's Church are closer than in real life.

Aubrey it has changed...street lighting, satellite dishes, no chimneys smoking etc etc.
