Broxton Avenue
Edging closer, I used to live in Orrell Gardens, not far from Broxton Avenue. The road somehow looks narrower than I remember.
Thank you Mick, a nice clear photo.
Alan
My sister used to live on Grasmere ????
Alan if you remember I did a video for you of your old street about 3 years ago Orrell Gardens it can be seen by copying this link

Hi Alan whenn did you leave Orrell Gardens I have lived there since 1983
I can remember whizzing down the footpath on a trolley that consisted of a plank of wood attached to the front and rear halves of a roller skate back in 1964! Was I on the forerunner of a skateboard do you think? We lived further down in Coniston Avenue before coming here to Australia in mid '64. The road wasn't full of parked cars probably Alan, I seem to remember there being only two cars near where we lived
What's my husband's car doing there?? Only joking.
I also lived further down in Coniston Ave from 1961-67 my first married home. Happy days
You've hit the nail on the head Ann, as i've said before that COULD be a problem.
Greatly enjoy your many youtubes uploads Mick. Sorry, to all , for off the subject.
Is the M6 to the right, going North or South?
Alex, that's the M6 going north.
used to live in broxton ,in the cul de sac .happy days
Mick, I remember your kind effort for me. Thank you for repeating the link, I lost the original.
Dave, I left in 1972 when I got married.
Alan
Alex and Neil Rigby; the M6 is going North and South!
In terms of the view, the traffic on the M6 is either going north or coming south, but not both. Going implies away and coming implies towards. The M6 itself is static and doesn't. go anywhere.
Neil; there`s traffic on both carriageways.
Cars on the pavements - naughty!
Of course Ernest, so in my view it is equally correct to say "the M6 is going north" (i.e. there is traffic on the M6 is going away from our viewpoint northwards) or "the M6 is coming south" (i.e. there is traffic on the M6 is coming towards our viewpoint southwards.)
Neil I know your right like most people on here do, it's ernest once again trying to be clever and awkward.
Garry, it's no more than a some verbal sparring, and a bit of fun.
