Thats a good way of showing what beers are on offer.

But is there only me who think that all these so called real ales taste more or less the same.

Ive also noticed real ale bars are spring up all over the place, same with all them little cafes who have reinvented expensive afternoon teas.

Alot of these must feature in a book of mine "A Thousand Beers to Drink Before You Die".
Not in a single session though!!

I've been drinking cask beer for 20 years or so, i WILL agree that a lot of them are hard to split, taste wise Mick, but there is a big choice, especially in the Abv's. All natural ingredients, no chemicals,no fizzy 'lager' bubbles, my doctor asked me more than 10 years ago, how much alcohol i drank and i said 'Too much for your liking' he ended up asking me 'What DO you drink?'i said cask and he replied, 'If you drink beer, that's what you SHOULD be drinking'. I later found out that's what he drank so i knew i was on safe ground, lol. The new micro bars are replacing all the closing pubs which is no bad thing, they're not ALL cafes Mick some sell food others dont. Patsy of Prospect brewery has made a good job of The Central. Cheers !

They can keep it taste like sweaty socks ,only here people say it's awreet never it's moorish but then again each to their own and the price is dearer than petrol a gallon.

Reminds me of the beerwall bar in Brugges, it at least 50metres of every beer and it's own individual glass in a large glass case.

Think your confusing real ale with lager Mick. Now that does taste the same

Each to their own

I don't like garlic but others do. Kas is right, to each their own.

A decent beer works out at £25 per gallon alot dearer than petrol.
No wonder the "dossers" drink un-leaded!!
White spirit or turps on special occasions!!
