Reasonably clean. Weeds growing in the paving though. I'm sure between trains that could be addressed!

Alan, the station was rebuilt in the late 70s, the new station is very nice but it doesn't have the atmosphere of the old station.

as far as i am aware the bay is still used for trains terminating at wigan from liverpool / southport
