Walled Gardens
How beautiful this is!....we had snow yesterday!!
Tree on the left looks dead unless its a slow starter.
That's a really pretty shot Neil..
thank you. :
Fine shot Neil.
Lovely picture Neil, we are fortunate indeed to have the Country Park on our door steps.
Today is the last day that the WW1 exhibition is open to the public, I'm told it's well worth a visit ,I hoping to go later today ,I believe it closes at 4-30. The Frends of Haigh Country Park have organised the event ,they do a wonderful job on behalf of all of us.
That's like Spring, Summer and Winter rolled into one; a tree in blossom, a tree in full leaf and a tree with bare branches, And all in a very special place, the Walled Garden at Haigh. Lovely, Neil.
I was here last Tuesday, the first time for many years and this photo gives a false impression. The bird song was superb though.
Ernest if that photo had been a video you would have heard the bird song.
Ernest, why do you say it gives a false impression? Is there something sinister hiding in the undergrowth?
Ken R: The walled garden is nowhere near in the condition it used to be.
I appreciate your kind comments, thanks.
