Unless there is a channel not showing in the picture there seems to be no room to work right underneath the boat.

I have brightened my screen and can see something resembling a trough but it still looks a poor working space.

The boat is resting on the cross beams. It looks like they are about two feet above the floor of the dock, so there is room to get under the boat for cleaning and painting. Any job under the bottom of a boat is a nasty dirty job....
