Good pic Dougie... I never have been in there or any of the Ashton Pubs... It looks good, but bigger than I remember it.. Is the section on the right as we look at is a addition?
Yes Janet the section on the right does look like and new bit.
Cant believe they have installed a Hand rail to help the old folk get up them steps.
It is Janet so is the bottom window on the left to be honest I've never looked at the pub this close before, I think they could have done a job better matching the new build on the right
Dougie if you have never noticed the new build that shows they have done a good job in matching it up.
Mick they have I agree but don't tell me they couldn't have done better above the window of the new build, I was drinking in there at seventeen lol as all the pit lads from Stones used it and I tagged along with them
Mick, are you taking the Micky, lol, aren't old people allowed into pubs now? if they are, some may need help with the steps... Could be you or I one day, needing help with steps.. :-)

Which side was extended in 1987? I've lived here since 2003 and since then the right side has been done.
