Is that snow I see on the fields ?

I am in southern Arizona at present.....it was 86 degrees today...I am really suffering !

(Just joking)

Nice scene, Rev, it has been a long time since I last saw it in reality.

Rev David, It's actually St Theresa's Church in UpHolland on the photo, I think you are confusing it with Standish!

You're right. A.W. - sorry! Yes, Alan - a thin sprinkling of snow - very good for highlighting features in the view.

You're right A.W
I've said many a confession and taken communion there!
Reverend Long should have gone to Specsavers!! LOL

It really is a good photo, as A.W. quotes however, not St. Marie's. You have a good eye for taking photos Rev. David. Well done..

A great photo Rev. Encapsulates the wonderful countryside that surrounds us.

When I see St St Teresas church I always think of Italy.

I bet theres not to many Wiganers who will know where the Upholland windmill is.

They have now moved out the Carmelite Nuns from the nunnery and knocked it down and started to build houses

Where have the nuns been moved to, Mick? My friend Carmel, who sadly passed away a few years ago, at only 53, was named after the Carmelite nuns. It is a lovely photo; Winter but with a feel of Spring sunshine.
