Just thought, I sometimes used to run across that field as I run home from St Maries school.

When passing, in a Shearings coach, fields with sheep having the same colour of blue dye as these have on them, I said they belong to Shearings as their coaches had the same colour on them!
There are several video`s on You Tube of J.S.Bach`s Cantata No. 208 - `Sheep May Safely Graze`. One I prefer is on :-

Rev. David; How do you like living in Standish?

Comment by: Rev David Long on 30th January 2015 at 15:06

Aubrey - I took the hint and went to take a pic of 'sheep in snowy field' - but there was very little snow. I took a pic anyway, which I'll submit to Brian for consideration. I've also sent some pics of snowy shots across the valley towards Upholland.
Ernest - Standish is fine. Handy shops and buses, and good walks and views around.

Thank you Rev. David, the snow did disappear quite quickly this morning. Look forward to the snowy shots.
