That wall looks inviting, I bet if you sat on it you would have a good view across the Moor to the Finger Post, Bolton Rd to the left and Haigh to the right. Good one Ron give the dog a pat for
me.

I can identify a poinsetta being Xmas time, Red Rum and Nipper, the HMV dog. Give him a pet and biscuit from me, Ron!

My Great Great grandfather farmed 35 acres , with hired labor and a large family , in Aspull T . He census at the time listed the property as ''Lower Highfield '' -- does anyone today , know the location of this place ?
