Photo-a-Day (Sunday, 23rd November, 2014)
Photo: Ron Dawber (Canon power-shot)
Thanks Ron, these photos are timeless. I remember as a young lad playing with my mates at the side where your taking the picture from, a nice warm day close to the end of the war, about 1944. Sad times, but happy days.
Lovely!..Two family outings?
That's a lovely composed shot Ron,it's very pretty..another one that would look beautiful in a frame.
Another tranquil scene, lovely.
Here we are in late November & we still have leaves on the trees...weird weather.
An ideal location to resurrect the game of Pooh sticks with the grand kids!
Without the people, Maureen!
Good photo Ron as Maureen has said it would look good in a frame, especially for the people on the bridge.
I totally agree Giovanni and Aubrey..
but as Ellen has pointed out,it is a family outing...a truly lovely scene.
I did say especially for the people on the bridge, not except for.
Most photographed bridge in all of Wigan.
If I had a pound for every time Ive rode my bike over it I would be richer than I am already
I beg your pardon Aubrey..silly me.
Another beautiful photo.
Lovely shot Ron.
Excellent picture Ron. I love it.
