Sun rays
Beautiful love how you have captured the suns rays through the trees and how it falls upon a carpet of autumn leaves .Thank you for sharing David
Just two thoughts; beautiful and thank you
Beautiful
That's different David, a great shot, well done.
Incredible!
A really beautiful photo, you have capture the moment David.
Excellent
That shot is just beautiful David...
heavenly..thank you.
That is a fabulous shot. Well Done.
Stunning. This must be one of the best photos all year!
As ever, this is a piece of Art, well done! Thank you so much.
You can feel the serenity and almost "hear" the silence. A perfect, peaceful moment on Remembrance Day.
Lovely. As Maureen would say, it just needs a frame round it.
What spoils it for me is the direction finger post.
That could have easily have been hidden behind the tree if the cameraman took a few steps to the left
it's ok i suppose but i detect a lot of lens flare which is hurtful to my cornia's hence this is making me squint and ive just stubbed mi little toe on the corner of the door frame. ........on a plus side it is a very nice bit of eye candy for a sunday afternoon
Natures beauty. Makes you feel glad inside. Well caught.
Absolutely gorgeous David.
A real "wow" pic.
Lovely shot pal!
Mick (aka David Bailey) when WILL you say something positive about someone elses photos, i've gone back through Nov and Oct and given up, i didn't find one instance of praise, you either say something negative, or, on occasions you do give good information about where to find certain things, but even that doesn't amount to a positive statement about the photo.
Jonno Im just telling the truth about the photo and about if it was as good as a lot are trying to make out that finger post wouldnt have been in the shot.
You can bet if Oy had taken it it woudnt have been there he would have moved a bit to the left so it would have been behind the tree
The photo is so stunning that I never even saw the finger-post until it was pointed out. "You can please some of the people some of the time" etc...... None of us are trained photographers on Wigan World; we are just ordinary people with a love and pride in our local scenes, warts and all. We see the doughnut, not the hole.
Some people could pick holes in a colander..and some people are so jealous of other peoples work that they can't for the life of them praise anybody else's work as I've pointed out to them before now.
Brill....Brill...Just let me sit down on fallen leaves and eat mi butties slowly....
Ok Mick, that's as it may be, but i see Oy has commented with 'Lovely shot pal', we know he is a good photographer but he didn't pick holes in it, or run it down.
Jonno, I only said what spoils it for me is the direction finger post being in view and offered some good advise how to take a better photo and yes Oy did say Lovely shot pal, he always say that to his cameramen mates on Wiganworld but on his own forum he used to tell people who put up photos the honest truth about how to the photo and how they could have taken it better.
Irene, if your not a trained photographer how come you can make comments as though you are, and like you say you never even noticed the finger post.
Maureen, Me jealous ah ah flaming ah
I didn't see the fingerpost either, even now I know its there it doesn't spoil the scene for me. Its still a great photo.
Maureen's right, some people can pick holes in a colander !!
Great shot! This could be an entry for the Countryfile calendar!
Mick does not like anyones pics, he moans at everything and everyone, he dont like kids, cars, dogs, flags outside peoples homes,he even dont like bins with the number painted on, well i dont like bike riders or rude people, (sound like someone on here ?)
Great pic David by the way
Oh yes!
A great picture with a very tricky exposure to manage.
Excellent picture.
