Our house is on there somewhere.
That's the Lancashire I remember, wonderful photo. It would be nice to take a walk down that track.
So is mine, Mick - I can see the hill from our house.
There are great views to be had from there, especially on clearer days.
Yes Rev there are some great view if you go up when the weather is clear.
But I bet there many a Wiganer who have never been up there because you cant drive a car up to it.
There a video here that I made up there thats shows a bit of the old windmill.

My bungalow is also on there, Mick.
Just watched, on a PC in Chorley library, your video taken on Harrock Hill. What`s that strange circular iron object with a slot in top near the end?
I`ve only been on the main road past this hill. Wasn`t there a prison nearby years ago?
Rev David, did you take a picture of Harrock Hall? Always loved the fact that we have a saint who was born there(John Rigby).
Bradshaw Girl Ive just put some photo on the Forum of Harrock Hall and Hill.
Ernest the strange circular iron object is a pheasant feeder, I think they can give it nudge and some feed drops out at the bottom.
Thanks Mick. A pheasant feeder eh! Never would have got that in a million years! Any idea`s on the prison that I think used to be nearby Harrock Hill?
Never heard of a prison being up there Ernest
