Platt Bridge
Oh, to be in Platt Bridge
Now that August's there...
Excellent!
beautiful. I love all these scatterings of wild flowers.
After all the times I have walked in this area, I did not recognise it. I really do feel old. it does look good though. As to the flowers, the "Friends" of our little park near here in bath have made some wild flower beds, They really do look good. Takes me back to my childhood.
So many poppies - we have them in Shevington but not so many - they are lovely.
In Flanders fields the poppies grow along the hedges row on row.
They are beautiful.
It is lovely to see the wild flowers on spare ground in parts of Lancashire, I do think that it should be done everywhere there are grass verges, end of motor ways, on motorway embankments all over any spare ground actually. They are so cheap for a packet keep scattering them one and all.
Super photo Tom, so clear and colourful.
Not the Platt Bridge I remember, nevertheless an improvement, Good photo Tom!
Top man, Tom.
Very nice.
