Bootiful
Its funny nobody as walked off with them boots because they dont look like there fastened down.
I love this! It reminds me of a story that was read to us in Mrs. Gerrard's class at Upholland Moor school. It was called "the Nasturtiums that grew too big for their boots". That was a very long time ago!
A bright & amusing photo, something to gives us a morning smile !
What a great shot..the whole picture is so colourful.
Have you ever noticed that when you see a shoe discarded by the side of the road there is only ever one shoe? You don't ever see anyone hobbling home wearing one shoe so what happens to the other shoe?
Great picture, well spotted.
Agreed, Helen!
They won't walk off with them round here Mick, they look like work boots!!
Smelly boots is better than plant food. What makes me smile, Helen is waking up in the morning and the sun shinning like it is today.
Re- Den's comment. We went a couple of years ago to the Roman site near Hadrians Wall, Vindolanda. They have 2 display areas on the wall of the museum as you enter. They display Roman shoes found in the digs they have every summer. Men's shoes, lady's shoes, children's shoes, babies's shoes, all manner of designs. All these shoes & they have never ever found a matching pair ! Where did the others go ?
Yes, agreed with Helen and Maureen's comments, beautiful pic.
Garry, that's poetry!!
These boots are made for WATERING!
Mick..they're not there!
Mick; they look your size
